Excellent First American Edition of Lummis' classic on the state and region of New Mexico. Book called Very Good Plus or better, closer to near Fine. 310 pages with 38 black and white text illustrations and period photographs, publisher's rust brown cloth with bright gilt titles to spine and front board, fantastic artistic title block with two sheep heads on front board. Crisp copy! Tight and square, NO previous owner bookplate or writing, very clean original green end papers, minuscule bit of soling, else FINE, Text never read condition. Book protected in a custom mylar sleeve AND slipcase in Fine condition., bright and clean. Superior book. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
