Kegan Paul & Co., 1879 2 vols. 8vo. contemporary half leather gilt with raised bands, marbled endpapers & leaf edges (ex-State Parliamentary Library of New South Wales with gilt stamp on upper boards, otherwise unmarked; bindings a little rubbed with light sunning to cloth, top edges dusty, scattered spotting, mostly to prelims. & around folding map, but generally quite clean, short closed tear in fore-edge of RFE); pp. xxviii, 338; viii (last blank), 320 (last blank), with 6 chromolithographs, 10 black & white plates, numerous text figures & a linen backed folding map. Heavy item (2.1 kg), additional postage may be required for international delivery. A very good copy. [Penzer 96-97].. First Edition. Hard Cover. VG.
