About This Item
London: T. Fisher Unwin, 1894. First Edition. Softcover. Good Condition. Wraps discolored, detached and heavily chipped, front with significant loss at the top edge, lighter at bottom edge, and a 2" teat at the bottom center; rear wraps with modest chipping at edges. String binding failing and nearly disbound - but generally very good internally, a few small marks, light chipping to page edges. The first state without the fleurons following "Desire" on the cover (Ahearn 721). The cover and title page (of the same image) by Aubrey Beardsley. A notoriously fragile book and often found in even more compromised condition. Size: Octavo (8vo). Quantity Available: 1. Shipped Weight: Under 1 kilo.
