G. W. Bromley & Co, New York, 1925. First Edition. Hardcover. Fair Condition/No Dust Jacket. Size: 4to, oblong. Text contains minor marks/notes in pencil. Previous owner's name in pencil on front paste down. Black cloth over boards, includes 191 highly detailed maps of Manhattan broken down into sections, shows streets, railroads, parks, buildings in incredible detail. It even indicates whether the buildings are brick or iron etc. Useful indexes and keys help read maps. Binding loose, hinges and text block cracked, some plates are loose but all are present, Covers worn, especially at spine ends and corners, staining on cloth, colors on plates faded, tears on some plates, a few repairs have been made, some toning and staining, notes/marks in pencil on several plates.
