Longman, Brown, Green, and Longmans, 1849. Hardcover. Good. 1849. No Edition Remarks. 287 pages. No dust jacket. Green cloth covered boards. Black and white frontispiece. Rough cut edges to textblock. Pages with some foxing and tanning, particularly to endpapers and textblock edges. Binding remains firm. Cracking to front hinge with netting exposed. Binding loose. Minor pencil inscriptions to front free endpaper. Boards have heavy shelf wear with bumping and fraying to corners and crushing and fraying to spine ends. All surfaces tanned and sunned, particularly spine. Gilt lettering is dulled. Some additional marks and staining to surfaces. Book has slight forward lean.
