Shelf wear, some staining to bottom page edges; wear to jacket tips, corners and edges, rubbing, front flap creased. First printing, no others noted. First of two volumes recounting the Burton-Speke expedition to locate Lakes Victoria and Tanganyika, the "Great Lakes" of Africa.
