Written in Italian, this is an Italian text published close to the Italian occupation of Abyssinia (Ehtiopia); includes sections on political geography, economics, climate, geology, and much more. Tan card covers with red titling on front, leading and bottom edges of text block are untrimmed, top edges of last few pages uncut, illustrated with black and white diagrams, a maps in black and white as well as colour, some are fold-out, 407 pages. The covers are in poor condition with numerous stains, previous owner's signature in blue crayon on front cover and in black ink on title page, top and bottom two inches of spine detached, faint dotted foxing on some pages but entire text is easily legible, there is a pocket for a fold out map on the back pastedown however the map is missing, otherwise the book is complete, binding quite weak at beginning of third part and spine is cracked in a couple of other locations. A thorough and interesting overview of Africa from an interesting historical perspective. Shipping charges are calculated for a standard parcel under 1 kg.
