Book is self-published, signed by the author on title page, not dated (circa 1971) Book describes the author's time spent on Mayne Island, one of the Gulf Islands off of the West Coast of British Columbia. The story gives an interesting account of life on the island in the 1920's. Blue card covers with red titling, chart of Mayne Island on cover, staple binding, includes facsimile of letter from Lord Charles Kennedy, Marquis of Ailsa, Culzean Castle, Ayrshire, Scotland(1947) and letter from Prince Von Bismarck to Colonel L.G. Fawkes(1888), 30 pages. Spine and adjacent edges sunned and foxed, light shelf wear with some minor creases to front and back cover, previous owners' names in ink and ink stamp inside front cover, occasional foxing spots in text.
