No Jacket. 213 pages bound in black cloth, with stamped gilt design on cover. Gilt on spine is mostly worn off. Inscription of ffp reads "For Clarice Brows from her friends, Anais & Hugo". The story of a woman at war with herself. BINDING AND HINGES STRONG AND TIGHT. Light foxing on top of page edges and 1 spot of ffp, not interfereing with inscription or signature. PAGES STILL BRIGHT.
