E.P. Dutton & Company, 1946. First Edition. Hardcover. Good/Acceptable. First edition, ex-library copy. Former library copy with date stamps on front endpaper, but no other library indications. Previous owner's name on front endpaper and note on dedication page. All other pages are clean and unmarked. Jacket protected in archival cover, but has a large chunk missing at spine head and on front and back covers. Age toning and light scuffing to jacket edges and corners. Some rubbing to lettering on spine, but does not affect legibility. Binding is firm and square. Deckled fore-edge.
