A beautiful livre d'artiste illustrated with 16 ORIGINAL COLOR WOODCUTS BY HERMANN-PAUL (2 large compositions and 14 lettrines). Edition limited to 109 numbered copies printed on extremely fine Arches wove paper. Initialed in pencil by the printer. Large folio. Loose as issued in original wraps. FINE AND BRIGHT, WITH NO DEFECTS, in the original qurter cloth portfolio (extremities of portfolio lightly faded).
