Design in Belgium after 2000 is een initiatief van het museum Grand-Hornu Images, Design Vlaanderen en de vzw Pro Materia, naar aanleiding van de viering van 175 jaar Belgie. Vermits Belgian design de laatste jaren tot een waar begrip is uitgegroeid, wordt met heel veel belangstelling naar dit unieke overzicht uitgekeken. Niet minder dan 130 Belgische ontwerpers, geselecteerd door een internationale jury, zullen er hun sterkste en meest recente product of environmental designs voorstellen. De begeleidende publicatie bij deze belangrijke expositie werd uitgegeven door Stichting Kunstboek. Daarin werden niet alleen minstens vier ontwerpen per designer gereproduceerd, maar werden ook de persoonlijke gegevens en verkooppunten zorgvuldig geinventariseerd. Vier essays van de hand van Lise Coirier, Francoise Busine, Francis Smets en Johan Valcke gaan vooraf aan dit unieke overzicht. Men ontdekt er werk van Claire Bataille

Terms and conditions of sale. Books are offered if unsold. The order of incoming orders will be respected strictly. Orders can be placed via e-mail (info@erik-tonen-books.be), or in writing, preferably not by telephone. The books that are offered online are not available at our bookshop at 48 Kloosterstraat. You will receive an e-mail confirming the availability of the book(s) and providing details with regard to shipment costs (we use Belgian and Dutch postal companies for the most cost-effective shipments. The indicated shipment costs have been calculated according to the rates for shipments of up to 2 kilo. We will choose the most cost-effective shipment option, depending on the weight: either letter post or parcel post. Payment must be made before delivery; ordered books will be reserved during 12 days in expectation of payment or confirmation of shipment. Payment can be made by transferring money to our Belgian bank; banktransfer IBAN BE48 4098 5839 0127 and the BIC (Bank Identifier Code)(swift) / KREDBEBB , Payment via Paypal account erik.tonen@pandora.be is also possible. Prices are net prices and free of VAT (margin arrangement) and expressed in euros. Shipment and payments costs are charged to the customer. Each shipment contains a delivery slip. Ordered books will remain our property until payment has been received. Our books are shipped in decently packaged form; The state of the books is not specified if the works are in good condtion (smaller, minor defects such as an ex libris stamp, a name on the first page, minimal wear and tear etc. are not specified, unless specifically requested). If the ordered works do not match the specified description, they may be reshipped within seven days after receipt, after prior notice.
