Bound in full period calf, flat bands, elaborate gilt tooling, gilt decorations to board edges, full gilt edges, marble endpapers. Calf rubbed, some minor loss on edges, gilt faded and rubbed, hinge joints rubbed,worn, but boards holding. Generally nice period bindings. Internally, bookplate of Robert Westley Hall Dare.
