Dusseldorf: Verlag Wirtschaft und Finanzen, 1988. First edition. Very good. Thin octavo hardcover in beige binding without dust jacket. Slight wear to edges and corners of boards. Head and heel of spine bumped. Covers lightly scuffed. Inscribed on the front free endpaper by Richard Musgrave to Wolfgang Stolper, the previous owner. Stolper was a noted economist best known for his work on Joseph Schumpeter and international trade (done with Samuelson). Also laid in are two letters exchanged between Musgrave and Stolper. 81 pages. Essays in German, but with some English excerpts, on the economic theories of Knut Wicksell (1851-1926).
