Half brown leather and green patterned paper covered boards, gilt lettering on green panel on spine, 8vo, 356 pp., all edges of text block stained green. Frontis portrait of Hamsun tipped in. Biography of Hamsun (1859-1952), Norwegian author and winner of the Nobel Prize for literature in 1920. No marks in book, binding tight. Covers show some edge wear, scuffing to leather backstrip. Book condition VG. Text in Norwegian.
