First Edition, 6th Impression of the 1922 Edition. 248 pp. plus fp. and includes 24 impressive black and white plates. Size: 9 7/8" x 6".
This clean copy is bound in cream buckram with black stamping with its woodblock print by William Nicholson. This illustration for the wrapper and cover was inspired by a section of the famous frieze at Knole.
This rare dustjacket is printed in red on cream coloured stock. There are a few pieces missing from the dustjacket as per the photos.Cross & Ravenscroft-Hulme A8.
A wonderful addition to any VSW collector's library.
