Large 4to (35 cm). 2 volumes: (2), ii, xl, 388; (2), ii, 404 pp. [text largely printed triple-column]. Profusely illustrated; extra engraved title page to volume one. Volume one: "Useful Arts"; Volume two: "Fine Arts." Contemporary half-leather (rubbed, corners bumped) and pebbled back cloth, gilt titles and rules between raised bands on spine. Very good.
