About This Item
London: Ernest Benn, 1933. First Edition. Hard Cover. Dust Jacket. First UK Edition. Black cloth with gilt lettering to the spine. Some light foxing to the page edges and the early/late pages of the book otherwise a bright and clean VG+ copy in like D/W priced 7s 6d net to the inside flap as called for. The D/W has a little bit of fraying at the spine tips and the corners and is slightly browned to the spine. All-in-All a lovely copy of a fairly uncommon book. The basis for the 1937 film starring Robert Donat and Marlene Dietrich.
