A Knight of the Highway by Scollard, Clinton - 1908

Scollard (1860–1932), a native of Clinton, New York, was a poet who occasionally wrote fiction, such as this novel. He taught English at Hamilton College, He is best known for his poem, "As I Came Down From Lebanon." This is a privately printed edition of his story that first appeared as "A Knight of the Highway" in Lippincott's Monthly Magazine 63 (September 1901), pages 259- 335.
