Boston: Houghton Mifflin, 1982. 1st edition, boards, w/printed dj. Inscribed in year of publication to fellow poet and close friend, Ralph Mills. The inscription reads: "For Helen & Ralph / Love, / John / March 4, '82" in black ink on the title page. "This new volume contains forty-four poems on the theme of kisses or kissing" (from the jacket notes.) A nice association copy in fine condition.
