About This Item
New York: The Century Company, 1910. First Edition (NAP) . Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. C. M. Relyea. Bound in light brown pictorial cloth with titles and decorations in red and black. Corresponding 1910 dates to the title and copyright pages, with "Published September, 1910" below the copyright. No additional printings. With fourteen illustrations on glossy paper by C. M. Relyea, all of which, rather oddly, have a slight marginal tidemark. The book itself exhibits no water damage of any kind, leading one to wonder if this slight damage occurred prior to the binding process. The cloth has only a touch of wear at the extremities, with no frays or splits. Former owner's name and date to the front free endpaper, otherwise unmarked. A clean, tight copy.
