Random House, 1939-01-01. Hardcover. Good. Signed. Random House, 1939. Hard cover, early printing with $2.50 price on DJ flap and only two titles by author listed. Signed and inscribed by Dr. Seuss on the back of the flyleaf, along the bottom. The flyleaf appears to have been mis-bound; it is wrinkled at the hinge and the top edge is a bit worn from sticking up above the page block. Otherwise the book is in VG condition in Fair dust jacket which has some chipping and edge wear and a piece missing from the spine.

Theodor Seuss Geisel-aka Dr. Seuss-is, quite simply, one of the most beloved children's book authors of all time.
