(Series: Scandinavian monographs. Vol. III). New York: American-Scandinavian Foundation, 1917, xvi, 388 pages, bib, index. This is the original 1917 edition in good shape. It is bound in blue cloth and the top paper edge gilt, the other paper edges are a little darkened, on the edge of the cover there is some fainty whitish wear, can see it if you look sideways at cover edge, nothing important. A good, tight clean of a very uncommon book. Signed in pencil on the front free endpaper by Harvard Professor K. G. T. Webster, Oct, 1917 with an envelope (empty, addressed to him). $35.00 Box 2129
