Not dated, c.1944, "Book production war economy standard" message is present on copyright page and previous owner's inscription on front end-paper is dated 1944. Size 12mo, 7.25" tall, 212 pages. Black cloth with gilt publisher's vignette on front cover and gilt titles to the spine, with the dust jacket. Book condition good, corners, edges and spine ends rubbed, hinges loose, previous owner's name to front end-paper, pages toned, spotting to top page edge. Dust jacket condition good, spine sunned, corners and spine ends chipped, some spots to inside of dust jacket, not price clipped, price 9/6 - including extra net war costs.
