Howard Baker, London, 1969. First Edition Thus. Hardcover. Good/Good. 650 g.; (12) 13-378 pages, last page blank, appendices and acknowledgements and index. Colour illustrated frontispiece, showing King Henry V. Dark blue coloured textured boards with gilt titles to the backstrip. Bumping to the backstrip corners and rubbing to the book corners. Browning and foxing to the text block edges. On the lower text block edge the date "25 Aug 1972" has been stamped. Age toning of the internal text. Previous owners details to the top left-hand corner of the front paste-down. Illustrated dustwrapper, same illustration as for frontispiece, with gold and back titles to the front panel and yellow titles to the backstrip. Writing and creasing to the dustwrapper edges and there is creasing to the fold over edges and each side of the spine. Heavy rubbing to the panels and handling marks. Fading to the backstrip. The life and times of the mediaeval English King, Henry of Monmouth also known as as King Henry V. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
