Garden City: Doubleday, 1954. Book Club (BCE/BOMC) . Yellow Cloth. Very Good+/Very Good. Orig owner's unique bookplate inside front cover, otherwise in superb condition. Jacket shows very light soiling. This is the Fireside Theatre Book Club edition; included is the original B/C flyer promoting this title. The play was first presented at the Lyceum Theatre in NY on April 1, 1954. The cast included Cloris Leachman, Jackie Cooper, Patchwork Peggy (the dog), and others. Illus with B&W photos from that performance. Copyright page states 'First Edition'.
