About This Item

London: Ward Lock, 1939. First Edition. Hard Cover. Dust Jacket. First UK Edition. Publisher’s turquoise boards with black spine lettering. A VG+ copy with light foxing to the page block edges and a tiny white mark to the front board. The D/W has been price-clipped both to the top and bottom right hand corners of the front flap. The D/W is in VG condition with several short edge tears and associated creasing. The D/W has the number 868 A to the spine but is identical to the first edition D/W except for the price-clipping. In the words of the Winston Graham bibliographer: I can't remember when I last saw Keys Of Chance for sale on ABE in any guise. Rare
