(d/w. Spine slightly faded. Slightly creased along top edge. Not price clipped). Owner’s bookplate to front endpaper. Else a clean and tight copy. 352 pp. With b/w photographs and illustrations, maps and graphs. The book covers all aspects of the Kestrel’s life cycle with especial emphasis on breeding performance, population densities, turnover, age and sex ratios. The bookplate has the name Peter Conder, who was director of the RSPB 1963-1976.
