The first edition of this work.A charming and insightful study into the county of Kent, England, an interesting look into the history of the county and how it was at the turn of the century.Illustrated with a colour frontispiece, one folding map, one folding plate, and seventy-two colour plates.Collated, complete.Written by W. Teignmouth Shore.Illustrated by W. Biscombe Gardner. In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, smart. A few minor marks to the boards and spine. Light bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Crack to the tail of the rear joint. Front hinge is starting but firm. Prior owner's ink inscription to the recto to the front endpaper. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with just the odd light spot, mostly to the endpapers. Very Good
