About This Item
1878, hardback in blue cloth board covers with intricate gilded design, 665 pages | covers are generally clean and bright, with vibrant gilding; outer edge of back board appears to have suffered a water spill, resulting in some fading - please see image; backstrip is a little darkened and shows light shelf wear at top and tail, but minimal for a title of this age and genre; small unidentified mark on back board, adjacent to backstrip title panel - please see image | spine is sound and square | interior is clean, with only slight yellowing due to age; no foxing; no name or notes; endpapers are clean and intact over hinges' rear endpaper shows tidemark from spill as per back cover, but so faint as to be barely discernible, and unlikely to detract from reading enjoyment | altogether, a superior copy of this very rare title | professional booksellers based in the UK | we package with great care and usually dispatch within 24hrs, always within two working days | please request scans or further information on any of our listings, which are all in stock and ready to be dispatched
