Malcolm Warner. acknowledgements, How I Got into This by author, chapter notes and bibliography. Illustrated endpapers, decorated by a map showing Old Sydney Road [ now the Hume Highway ) -- Ned Kelly's lifeline. The text is illustrated with numerous black-and-white illustrations by R. Malcolm Warner. Green coloured cloth covered boards with gilt illustration of a man standing to the lower right hand corner of the front panel with gilt titles to the spine. The history of one Australia's most popular sons (and most famous bushranger ) -- Ned Kelly; and of the manhunt that was mounted to capture him. Softening and rubbing of the back strip edges; with, bumping, rubbing and fraying of the book corners. The book panels show a little rubbing, foxing and sunning  particularly to the back strip. Age toning and foxing of the text block edges with age toning of the pages. Previous owners name to the top right hand corner of the half title page. Offset tanning to the end pages.
