Bar Harbor, ME: The Kebo Valley Club, 1948. Staplebound. Very Good. Elephant folio sized (45 x 30 cm), 14 pages, staple bound golf club history. Edge creasing with two short closed tears. This brief history of the eighth oldest golf club in America also includes a history of Bar Harbor as a summer resort. Membership lists, photos and ads. The course was played in 1911 by President William Howard Taft. He scored a remarkable 23 on the most difficult hole, the 17th. Notable members include the journalist Walter Lippmann, publisher, Joseph Pulitzer, and John D. Rockefeller, Jr. Scarce, the WorldCat locates four copies in three Maine libraries.
