Michael Morpurgo OBE,is one of Britain's best-loved writers for children.He has written over 100 books and won many prizes,including the Smarties Prize,the Whitbread Award and most recently (then 2008) the Blue Peter Book Award for his novel 'Private Peaceful',which was adapted for the stage.His acclaimed novels include 'Born to Run.', 'Alone on a Wide Wide Sea.' - see my book ID rja652416 and 'The Amazing Story of Adolphus Tips.'.
