Jesee James arrives in Lawrence, Kansas where he is about to be lynched for being part of Quantrill's Raiders, though he is not. A Union officer intervenes on his behalf and he is saved, only to join up with Quantrill's Raiders. He begins to question where his loyalty lies upon seeing the atrocities purported by the Raiders. Set in Kansas, shot on location in California, and Utah, USA. Tan titled wrappers, noted as Revised Shooting Final on the front wrapper, dated May 9, 1950.
