First edition, super octavo, black cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine & gilt mountain motif to front board, frontispiece, xix + map + 187pp, illus, VG (slight staining to board upper edges, light foxing to eps & slightly moreso to page edges, lacks fep) in d/w, G+ (3cm untidy tear to front upper left corner, 2cm tear with loss to upper spine, browning to rear & to flaps, heavy creasing to front flap, 4cm untidy closed tear with crease to rear upper right corner, price clipped)
