Spine is gilt decorated, lettered with a gilt drawing of a fierce animal in the brush. illustrated. There is a previous owner signature on the blank preliminary page "Grace and Ellie Roosevelt". Grace Roosevelt was a tennis player, as well as her sister Ellen , who both won U.S. singles Championships in the late 19th century. The hinges are exposed, there is a 1" vertical slit along the lower spine. An adventure story about a family traveling to Australia for missionary work. . Signed by Grace Roosevelt. First Edition. Hardcover. Good. Octavo.

Our Internet business began in 2001. Upon visiting the store, we can show and sell individual online titles upon request. Store hours are 10:00-5:30 (Tues.-Sat.) and 11:00-4:00 (Sun.).
