An engaging two-movement composition (Allegro; Lento) for the unique combination of contrabass and bassoon by the Russian composer Evgenyi Irshai (born 1951). Though designated for 5-string bass, the part can readily be negotiated by standard 4-string contrabass. 17 pages. CONDITION: a solid, uncreased copy with moderate shelf-wear, unmarked but for some composer-excised phrases. This rare score is now in a clear, protective polypropylene bag with archival backing board.. Assumed First Edition. Sheet Music. Very Good. 9.75" x 13.75". Music Score.
