Two volumes, which are reprint copies, being third reprint copies and a second reprint copy. In the original German. Frederick II was King of Sicily from 1198, King of Germany from 1212, King of Italy and Holy Roman Emperor from 1220 and King of Jerusalem from 1225. He ruled a vast area stretching from Sicily through Italy and to Germany, acquiring land through the Crusades. Both volumes have a frontispiece. With the original unclipped dust wrappers. In the original cloth binding. Externally, lovely. Internally, firmly bound with bright and clean pages.
