North River Publishing House , 1903. 359pp, second edition, red cloth, gold lettering, gold on top page edges, small bookplate on front end page with name scratched out, one corner tip slightly bumped, minor rubbing at corner tips, written by a judge who was concerned about the prevalence of group hysteria and mob violence leading to illegal executions which he thought was caused by frustration at the slow process of the court proceedings leading up to a trial, this book is a collection of short stories, some true, some made up, with examples of unfavorable handling of lthe law and court cases, and the public response. Hard Cover. Very Good.

High Street about three miles north of Ohio State University in the Clintonville area. We accept cash or checks, but not credit cards. There are bank machines in the neighborhood. We have a wide variety of interesting books, many of which are scarce, from recently printed, out of print, scholarly and collectible. Literature, fiction, mysteries, science fiction, ancient, classical, medieval and modern history, science, nature, religion, children's, art, poetry, drama, music, folklore, linguistics, philosophy, travel and military are our main sections with hundreds titles available in each. We also have old books with attractive bindings, post cards, a few magazines and interesting pamphlets and brochures. Someone is usually here Monday - Friday 10:00 - 2:00.
