A charming topographical work exploring the west of England, the midlands, and Kent, providing an interesting snapshot of England during the Georgian era. Illustrated with a frontispiece, one folding map, and two maps.Written by John Evans, a Welsh Baptist minister. Two pages of adverts to the rear.Collated, complete. In the original paper-covered boards, neatly rebacked and restored, with new endpapers. Externally, smart, with some discolouration and light marks to the original boards. Minor bumping to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with a few scattered spots. Faint tide mark to the gutter of the frontispiece. Very Good Indeed
