Minor fading to the spine tips and the bottom couple of millimetres of the front board and the usual offsetting to both sets of end-papers overall a VG+ copy. `In the RARE D/W with a 1.5 cm chip from the top of the spine and miniscule chipping from the base. The D/W is partially foxed to the front panel. Four page introduction by the Author followed by more than 80 portraits of dogs printed on one-side only on heavy light-brown art paper. A much nicer copy than normally seen of this classic set of dog drawings in Cecil Aldin's inimitable style in a combination of brown, white and black. A nice copy. Looks most attractive in its shiny brodart protector. Photographs/scans available upon request.
