About This Item
Berlin: Verlag der Schild, 1924. Second edition (first was in 1919 with a slightly different title). Octavo. 124, [4, ads] pp. Photographic illustrations. Publisher's quarter green cloth with gilt spine lettering over pictorial boars showing a German plane. Corners a bit bruised, some sunning to spine but a very good copy.As sometimes seems to be the case, a paragraph of p. 50 is blacked out. It is also on this page that we see an image of a plane with a swastika on it. Perhaps it was a bit too laudatory for the upcoming Nazi party. The story of the achievements of German-Jewish pilots in the first world war.
