About This Item
Kuala Lumpur: Malaysian Branch of the Royal Asiatic , 2017. Reprint. Paperback. New. Peet arrived in Kuala Lumpur, as the Straits Times' first correspondent stationed in the city, when the Federal Capital was barely half a century old. Within living memory, the new city had been a Chinese mining village. However, as this personal selection of his articles for the paper demonstrates, Peet's remit stretched throughout the peninsula as it came to grips with being an important part of the British imperial domain. 180 pages. Please see the scan of the contents page for further details. New Paperback Reprint Weight: 0.5kg. Post free within Malaysia
