Large quarto, [viii], viii, 598 pages plus 15 plates (one folding), 3 maps (2 folding) and a folding vocabulary.
Bound in publishers original blue buckram with gilt titles to the spine.
Minor water stain near base of spine, gift inscription else near fine. Jacket with minor wear at heel of spine, small damp stain to lower rear cover, price clipped else VG+. Still in the original (shelfworn) blue slip case with titles to the spine.
An extremely nice copy.
