INSCRIBED by Mann on the front free endpaper: "To Dr. Stephen Fritzmann [sp]| very honored by his visit | with my best wishes | Pacif. Palisades, June 18. 1948 | Thomas Mann" Fritchman was a Unitarian Church minister who subsequently spoke at Heinrich Mann's funeral in California in 1950. This is a tight, near fine book with shallow wear crown of the spine in a near fine DJ with shallow edge wear, especially at the backstrip extremities. Uncommon signed.. Inscribed by Author(s). 1st Edition. Hardcover. Near Fine/Dust Jacket Included.
