About This Item
New York: Magico Magazine, 1984. Hardcover. Fine. With a new Introduction by Ely Liebow, who has inscribed the book on the front endpaper. Fine. Red leather with gilt lettering on the spine and front board. Square and firmly bound, toned inside the front board from a newspaper clipping, inscribee's name on the front endpaper, clean otherwise. According to Liebow's Introduction, "I can think of no other 'Sherlockian book' that deserves re-printing more[...]for if Mrs. Saxby hadn't played Boswell to the good doctor, and asked him his opinion of the 'Passing Parade,' we'd know very little indeed about the great surgeon who valued his privacy.
