Frontispiece is a woodblock print of Gillian Lewis's portrait of Burns. An attractive private-press effort presenting a work that is believed to have first appeared in 1799. Condition of this book: Fine in lightly worn case. Special Limited Edition, first issue in this format. Size: Quarto. Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Binding is tight, covers and spine fully intact. All edges clean, neat and free of foxing.
