About This Item
N.P.: International Boundary Commission. One volume, the report, is rebound in black buckram with white lettering on the spine. The second volume, the 41 maps and plates, is nicely and sturdily rebound in green buckram with the original front cover cloth laid on professionally and attractively. The report is 8.75" by 12.25". The portfolio that goes with it is 19" by 28". Both volumes are ex-library. The report has perforated university initials on the title page, at the corner of one map, and in the margin of the portfolios. There are three professional mends along the folds of three portfolios, and another portfolio needs a mend along the fold because it is separated there. The report is heavily illustrated, and all sketches, diagrams, and maps called for are present. The portfolio has tiny architectural library stamps on the fore-edges and bottom edges and a larger stamp at the foot of the title page. It has a small library sticker inside the front cover and one map with a numeral in ink in the margin at the foot. All other 40 plates are pristine and very attractive. The two-volume set is seldom found complete. . Good. Hardcover. First Edition.. 1918.
