About This Item
A very nice first printing of the first English edition [Peter Nevill (London 1953)], signed by Muriel Spark directly on the title page. The book is in near fine condition with light crimps at the spine ends and toning on the end papers. It has no remainder marks, a tight and square binding, with no owner inscriptions or highlighting and no staining. The dust jacket is in very good condition, with some chips, small tears and shelf wear. It is now protected by an archival cover which is easily removable, with no tape or adhesive used. Please do not hesitate to contact us for further information.
