About This Item
London: Frederick Muller Ltd., 1938. Third Edition, 1941 . Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. The interior of the book is crisp and clean. There is a small previous owner's name on the front free end paper, but no other marks or signs of use. The red covers are fresh, with minor wear at tips and corners. The dust jacket is price-clipped, but is otherwise in very good condition, with light wear and a lightly darkened spine. The attached scan should give a better idea of condition. Synopsis: "John and Mary decide to form a detective agency when their grandmother lost a sapphire. The office was their own little house on their grandmother's farm. Cases came fast and furious. There was the strange business when the milk of Marybell the cow kept on disappearing; then followed the Mystery in a Railway Carriage; and another time the two detectives got badly lost in a fog.
